The global pandemic in 2020 and 2021 had a profound impact on the real estate market across Canada overall. The demand for properties outside cities such as the Greater Toronto Area reached new heights including here in Southern Georgian Bay.
In early 2022 market conditions started to shift and this has continued into 2023 driven by significantly higher mortgage rates. As a result, we have returned to a “balanced market” for both Sellers and Buyers.
